It's been one week...

We've been in Australia for a week. Most of the time we've been unpacking, running some errands for dad, just taking it easy and adjusting to life in Australia. I've already gotten my queensland 's driver's license and opened up a bank account. So far we've been to one devotional meeting, and also a dinner with some of the local Baha'i community and their friends, where the hostess surprised us by asking us to talk about Haifa and the Baha'i World Centre. We wished we were given more warning so that at least we could be prepared for it and maybe bring along photos etc to share with the friends there. But it was all good and it was nice to meet all these people.

Today, Faraz took me to a pretty big Asian supermarket and we did lots of shopping to stock up. It was a pretty impressive selection and reminded me of the asian supermarkets that I frequented in Perth. Tomorrow, we might be going to Ikea to just get some storage organisers etc and I like Ikea! fun fun but because we aren't working yet, we won't go crazy in there and just buy what we need :)

Great dear. It seems you are settling down perfectly in your new home and community. Enjoy these moments dear as once you start working, life will be different.
We are all ok here. There is only a bad flu around.
