moving on

Oh boy, I seem to be making monthly updates on my blog. What's new? Well, my entire family is in Cape Town now and I would love to be there at this moment too :(
But I'm happy for them. I have heard endless stories about how beautiful Cape Town is blah blah blah.... so whats 3 additional people to the list of Cape Town lovers? I think Charlie and Nika are excited too... Charlie was telling me about where he plans to bring them to, safari and all. Man! i'm so envious. But I am sure I will make it there eventually... maybe end of this year or next year at the end of my service.

But I am excited actually... I'm moving flats, maybe tomorrow actually. I've spent a large part of my weekend packing and cleaning. So if my flat inspection is approved, i get to move tomorrow :)
If you are wondering what is wrong with my present flat, well nothing actually... it is a little old and often needs repairs for either the sink, drainage, air conditioning, fridge etc, but its a great location and has a great view, and i was happy living there.
But i was planning to move to Ming's flat on account of me spending more time there than my own flat, except now her flatmate has extended her service, so it would be hard for me to get there. Under the persuasion of one of the staff members, i went to take a look at this other flat, and man! it was beautiful! I could live in the bathroom, the bedrooms were carpeted, it had a great view and extremely clean and tidy flatmates! Score!
So I'm excited now about my new place... i think only thing is that the elevator is kind of slow and small so if i ever get stuck in it, i'm gonna get caustophobic! yikes touch wood! But its all good :)
