44% evil????

Great, I was just reading my friend, ryan's blog, and came across this website that rates texts or websites to analyse the evil in you. seems like my blog is 44% evil. SO if u are reading this right now, beware, its almost half evil. Muahahahahaha

But the funny thing is that before i posted my previous blog entry, my site was just 28% evil. funny how one entry has made me much more evil. i should have pasted the link then. Darn! great so now if i analyse this i might be totally evil. muahahahhahahah

But its fun, try this Germatriculator to calculate the goodness in you.

p/s its all for fun yah... please no one take it seriously coz i'm such an angel ;)

Trigger happy time

Yippee!!!

Today i got myself a new toy, or maybe i should say an old toy. I bought a 2nd hand Pentax ME Super SLR (manual camera lah). I'm so excited.... ok for all you people with your flashy digital 10 megapixel cameras. I'm going back to old school. Take that!

Sure one of those digital SLRs would have been awesome, but of course i'm broke and I don't think I could ever afford one of those while I'm still doing my service. SO in the meantime, its time to fall in love with a little manual camera with the quiet click click sounds instead of the whirring noises of the digital or autofocus cameras.

I can't wait to go out and shoot some photos... my lao ba aka foto teacher would be so proud of me!

Dim Sum time! Last month, a bunch of us got together and each one contributed a dim sum dish. we were very full and very happy. All these friends here of course love dim sum. See the egg tarts on the table in a muffin tray? Nancy and I made them. So when u can't get egg tarts, ask me for the recipe =) YUM Posted by Hello

Planning for my hols....

Yes the Kiasu Singaporean side of me is finally emerging...
I still have another half year to go and already I'm thinking of where I should go for holidays. Should I go back to Singapore aka food and shopping paradise? OR should I visit my brother and sister-in-law in Cape Town, South Africa? I have heard wonderful stories of South Africa and that its really beautiful, besides I should take advantage of the free accomodation =P

Some of my pals in Singapore were just asking about when I am going back. Ummm... I don't know. If only I could get a ticket that goes from Tel-Aviv to Cape Town, then from Cape town to Singapore and back to Tel-Aviv again. It'll probably cost too much. and all that time flying would bore me to death especially since i'll be travelling with some cheap airline. haaah

So lets see in 4-5 months time, if i'm desperate enough for local food, and I'm missing my friends too much. Or if i'm convinced that I should go for a nice hol and see the safari. Before anyone accuses me of being unfilial, either ways I should be seeing my parents as they said they would go to Cape Town the same time as I will. Hmmm... then again there's Momo in Singapore.. wehh......

Strange?

Not sure if its me or its just where I am.
I've been the eye-witness to accidents lately.

Usually, I'll hear a car screech or something and when I turn, I see that there haa been an accident or I'll pass the scene in the aftermath. But on Friday morning, Just as I have crossed the road and was waiting for another green man to cross again, I see this young gal dashing across the road when it was already green for the vehicles to move. It was a 4 lane road for that traffic going that way and the first 3 drivers saw her but the fourth one did not. The female driver of course starts moving and hits her.

It was the most awlful scream and screeching combination ever. All this time I'm like standing there and all I can do is go ..."nooooooooo". The gal gets hit and bounces off more than a meter away. Its amazing that the car was just starting to move and yet the impact was so great. I can't imagine if it was a fast moving vehicle.

I hate the feeling of waiting to see it happen. Its as if time has slowed down for those seconds while u anticipate what is coming. Roughly 2 weeks ago, while I was on my way home from work, I was rounding the bend of the path and my eyeline fixates on this point across the road. Suddenly I see this white vehicle coming straight into this cement block reinforcing one of the poles of a signboard. I'm like "what??". THere was no vehicle that was infront of it or anything. The car just drove right into the pole in broad daylight. I couldn't believe it! just so biazzare. Why?
