Problems with piracy?

If you have ever produced your own CD or album, there's always this concern about piracy or duplication of your music.

I was working today and had received this CD.  After all the usual production and distribution information thats usually printed at the backcover of the CD, I spy this information regarding copyrights, "All rights reserved. Unauthorized duplication is illegal and will hurt my feelings".

Cute!!!!!

FedUp about F**Ex

No prizes for guessing which courier service I'm talking about.
Yup, all this talk about delivery the next day has gone down the drain.
Doesn't matter even if i have family working for them... their service is CRAP!!!

It takes three days for my package to get from SG to Tel Aviv and 2 weeks from Tel Aviv to Haifa. Amazing.. i guess i shall just use normal postal services next time. Save myself the trouble, emotional distress and $$$$.

Weh....

Why? Why?? Why???
Do I seem to have bad luck with cameras. The Pentax ME Super which I just gotten is screwed for sure. I shot 2 rolls of film and only 2 shots turned out. It was blank for the rest or only half the frame appears.  My sinsei, Ryan says on inspection of the camera that there's a fingerprint on the shutter. Thats just great.

Now i'm gonna do a recap on the manual cameras which i have used. Started out with my uncle's Nikon FA. It was a really nice camera and I lugged it all the way to central Europe and Israel in a backpack, and discovered that the mirror was not working proper. Then came my 'cousin' Nooshin's Minolta XD7. It was ok but i had light streaks on the right side of alot of my shots. So I thought it was time to get my very own camera and I bought the Pentax ME Super. It was really nice to use but my pictures don't even turn up. Right now I'm borrow my friend, Violetta's camera. It nice but a little heavy for me especially after the pentax. so i hope nothing's wrong with it. Otherwise I'll be too broke to buy her a new one. Already i'm having fun with the light meter of Violetta's Minolta SRT101.

Sigh..... why why??? and no... a digital SLR is out of the question.. no $$$.
someone give me something that works proper.

Too busy?

This has been a really tough or should i say challenging week for me. Not just work but other stuff too. I won't go into details but i have been saying that i'm busy and my colleague sent me this story about Mole and Rat.

'Believe me, my young friend, there is nothing- absolute nothing- half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats. Simply messing,' he went on dreamily: 'messing- about- in- boats; messing-'
'Look ahead, Rat!' cried the Mole suddenly.
It was too late. The boat struck the bank full tilt. The dreamer, the joyous oarsman, lay on his back at the bottom of the boat, his heels in the air.
'-about in boats- or with boats,' the Rat went on composedly, picking himself up with a pleasant laugh. 'In or out of 'em, it doesn't matter. Nothing seems really to matter, that's the charm of it. Whether you get away, or whether you don't; whether you arrive at your destination or whether you reach somewhere else, or whether you never get anywhere at all, you're always busy, and you never do anything in particular; and when you've done it there's always something else to do, and you can do it if you like, but you'd much better not. Look here! If you've really nothing else on hand this morning, supposing we drop down the river together, and have a long day of it?'
The Mole waggled his toes from sheer happiness, spread his chest with a sigh of full contentment, and leaned back blissfully into the soft cushions.

July is here

Half the year is officially over.
yes its well into summer in isreal.... somehow i dun miss the weather in singapore coz its almost like that here in Israel. Very hot and getting humid too...

Start of July and I was asked to come along for a hike. It was good fun and great to be in nature. But it was a real dry hike at the Carmel Forest. No streams or waterfalls at all. It was strangely quiet too.... no insects buzzing, so unlike a tropical green forest. Just dry and silent.

Yeah... if that wasn't enough sun, the very next day I went to the beach. I always thought that Israel was pretty conservative, so i was surprised when i got here.
